Mama said there'd be days
It’s just one of those weeks. You know, where nothing will quite go your way?
Crazy unexpected bills, car towed with astronomical charges attached, work we banked on fell through, air conditioning barely works downstairs and not at all upstairs in sweltering heat, sweaty uncomfortable sleep in your living room…
You get the idea.
But, today, I opened up my email and was greeted...

After a near hold up, we locked the doors, and I chatted up a shop owner in my neighborhood about how her shop came to be a reality and her next big steps. Even shared my own shop dreams! So much easier to say those things out loud to strangers who have done what you want to do. Gets me so excited! #keepthedreamsalive

Time to pause and put the whirlwind down on ‘paper’.
Guys, this has been my last 3 months…job offer, positive pregnancy test, wedding, start new job, sick, two weeks in Europe, more sick, move to new city, doctor appointments, see baby in utero, tell family, tell work, tell friends, finally feeling better.
I’ve wanted to write about it, all of it. But,...
